In the road between Barcelos and Esposende you can visit this tavern, famous for its roasted Veal with roasted potatoes, sprouts and white rice. The Feijoada (white beans stew with pork and beef, vegetables, Portuguese assorted sausages with white rice) is also excelente, as well as hog’s casings.

Before the main course, you must taste the Pataniscas (shreds of cod with potatoes, flour, eggs, salt, pepper, onions, chopped parsley and water), freid Sardines and other delights. All accompanied by red Vinho Verde (wine of the region) or if you don't like it, you have an excellent cellar to choose. To finish your meal, you have to taste Pão-de-Ló (sponge cake).
