Quinta da Lagarta

Póvoa de Lanhoso
Description / Facilities

Old watermill carefully restored and driven by a narrow clear-water stream, Quinta da Lagarta stands next to Roman Via XVII. Privileged for its quiet and countryside surrounding, Quinta da Lagarta offers in addition the relaxing and therapeutic sound of water coming from the mill-pond at the border of the property and running all across the garden. Within a project of organic agriculture and culture and landscape inheritance preservation, Quinta da Lagarta may provide traditional Minho cooking courses, as well as Portuguese language, culture and literature courses (only on weekends).
