The House of Lavandeira has a place for events with capacity for 300 people, which provides extraordinary views and an interaction with the surrounding nature, due to its wooden structure opened to the outside. A large lawn, a swimmimg-pool and a leafy wood make anidylic scenery.
The function room is equiped with a bar and air conditioning, with fireplace and a kitchen which is dedicated to the traditional cuisine. For small and charmevents, we advise our interpretative center of regional cuisine – the “Tasquinha do Penedo” -, with capacity for 50 people and a distinct atmosphere. In this space you can try the typical dishes, such as Anho (roasted lam in the wood oven), Frango Assado (roasted chiken in the wood oven), Arroz de Cabidela (chiken rice), Cozido à Portuguesa (different boiled meats with vegetables) and Rojões (portuguese manner roasted pork meat).
The Casa da Lavandeira offers a variety of catering services: weddings, baptisms, birthays, family parties, business dinners and business meetings.
