There are three bridges in the Travagem place. The iron bridge is symbolic by its huge round arch. It was built in the XIX century, integrating the Minho railway inaugurated on the 21st
May, 1875.
The Elias Garcia road bridge was built in the early second half of the XIX century, being integrated in the EN nr 32 (National Road), from Porto to Santo Tirso.
There is a smaller and older bridge between these two. Its function ceased to be relevant with the construction of the new EN 105.
