Old bridge of Cabril

Description

Roman bridge of solid masonry construction granite dating from the medieval period. It offers a perfect arch with a span of about two meters wide. The board rises in easel and the arc is strongly consolidated on the banks through two different piers. The floor consists of regular slabs and has no side protection. It lies on the river bank of Cabril, with most of the year submerged, and only observed when the water levels of Salamonde reservoir down.
