This facility is housed in a restored olive press at Quinta do Encontro. With an exhibition area measuring around 400 m2, it houses sacred art, black clay utensils and artefacts linked to rural activities and professions, which intend to show the history of the region, with regards to agriculture, lifestyle and working techniques, in an appealing manner.
Besides the permanent exhibition, the Museum promotes several practical activities and events on the agricultural calendar, such as grape harvesting and pruning, and pig slaughtering, as well as initiatives involving traditional local gastronomy.
