In the parish of Milheirós de Poaires, the Mámoa River Beach bathing and leisure áreas welcome tens of beach-goers during the summer. Part of a project for Riverside rehabilitation and the creation ok public leisure spaces with a close link to nature, this infrastruture provides its users with two beaches, one at each bank, garden and leisure áreas, and parking facilities.
Boasting sporting equipment, support infrastructure for playful activities, a bar and a restauran, the Mámoa River Beach has na área of around two hectares, next to a road bridge over river Antuã and a small, recently renovated water mil.
This river beach is na extremely pleasant bathing área, with good sun exposure, na ideal place for those who enjoy outdoor life and nature sports.
