“Lavandeira Park” is an urban park of recreation and Leisure, this park of 11 hectares, opened to the public in August 2005. It is situated very close to the centre of Gaia and is a result of an acquisition by the municipality of the former Lavandeira Farm. We took advantage of the pre-existing vegetation, planted a maze and built a lake.
In the Park of Lavandeira there is a cafeteria, organized handicraft fares and vegetable sales. There are activities such as Yoga and Taichi among many other initiatives.
