Casa do Penedo

Fafe
Description

Of unusual architecture, taking advantage of the granite boulders as walls, brings to Confurco, in the parish of Moreira de Rei, several curious observers to admire one of the most extravagant homes that are acquainted. Its construction is entirely made from stone, with the exception of doors, windows and roof.

That is why it is known as “Casa do Penedo” (House of Stone), having been built between 1972 and 1974.

In the social networks, it is known as the "House of the Flintstones".

The home fits within the Serra de Fafe, right next to the mythical league of Confurco, where emotions are intensified with the crossing the Rally of Portugal.
