The Art and Bacchus Gallery is located in the historic centre of Ponte de Lima and, concerning its activities, include cycles of exhibitions of various art events (photography, painting, drawing, sculpture, decorative arts, installations, performance art, etc.) and production and presentation activities of theatre performances (puppets, story tales, etc.), music performances, dance, poetry recitation, book launches, literary gatherings, workshops, among other artistic activities.
The partners of this company are Paulo Dias, an economist with experience in management and training, Mário Rocha, painter and trainer, and Antonio Capelo, actor of television, film and theatre, musician, translator, theatre director and artistic director. The technical and academic skills, combined with the experience of the partners and the manager, were the basis for the formation of a different space with a variety of cultural activities.
This gallery has some details that make the difference, namely, the slate plates, in almost all surfaces, which allow you to write messages, notes and thoughts.
The fundamental lines of the cultural program has as its motto the promotion and divulgation of local products and as main agents a network of artists, creative, entertainers and local producers, as well as experts from the institutes, schools and universities.
